NFL Kansas City Chiefs defensive end Mike Danna
On Monday, the Buffalo Bills added defensive end Mike Danna to their roster, signing the veteran to a one-year agreement. The specific financial details of the contract have not been disclosed.
Danna, 28, has spent his entire six-year professional career with the Kansas City Chiefs, who selected him in the fifth round of the 2020 NFL Draft. His standout campaign came in 2023, when he started all 16 regular-season contests and all four postseason games en route to a Super Bowl title. That year, he posted career-best numbers: 50 tackles, 6.5 sacks, and 13 quarterback hits during the regular season, adding 7 tackles in the playoffs.
In 2025, Danna recorded 25 tackles, one sack, and four QB hits across 15 games (14 starts). Over his career, the two-time Super Bowl champion has amassed 194 tackles, 25 tackles for loss, 21.5 sacks, 51 quarterback hits, and six forced fumbles in 87 regular-season appearances (49 starts).
In a corresponding roster move, Buffalo released cornerback MJ Devonshire. Devonshire had joined the practice squad last December before signing a two-year, $1.9 million reserve/future contract in January.
