Victorina Himeji of the women’s SV League has announced that five players, including Airi Miyabe (27), a registered member of the 2026 Japan women’s national team, will leave the club. Miyabe joined the team in the 2022-23 season, providing strong support with her powerful offense and steady defense. She also competed for Japan at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Miyabe shared the following message: “I have decided to leave Victorina Himeji at the end of this season. Over these four years as a professional volleyball player, both in good times and bad, I have been supported by the fans and everyone in the team. I am truly grateful. At the next step, I will stay true to myself and work hard to show everyone the growth I have made, no matter where I play. Finally, I thank everyone who has supported me so far. I hope you will continue to warmly watch over me.”
